HHD Methodology Consulting Group

Mission

The HHD Methodology Consulting Group provides consultation in the areas of statistics, research design, and measurement for faculty, staff, and graduate students of the College of Health and Human Development and for social science and other faculty, staff, and student researchers associated with the Social Science Research Institute (SSRI). Although our consulting activities will not be limited to grant-related activities, we consider providing support for grant applications and providing consultation for funded research to be among our most important responsibilities. Beyond that, we will provide consultation on any of these topics when requested.

The group is housed in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies (Steven H. Zarit, department head). Support for the group is provided by that department. Additional support is provided by the Social Science Research Institute (Susan McHale, director). The consulting staff consists of faculty members and research associates in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies.
