First-Year Peer Assistants

I'm from a small town in the Poconos called Jim Thorpe, PA. I'm a Health Policy and Administration major and am involved in HPA-related clubs on campus. In my free time, I like to go to the gym, watch movies/shows, and hang out with friends.

Hey everyone!  I'm from Altoona, PA. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, reading, being outside, and baking!  I also enjoy spending time studying in the library and grabbing coffee at the HUB.

I'm from West Chester, PA! A few of my favorite classes have been taught by Dr. Crissman-Ishler, and I purposely take her classes because of it. I love to read, go to the gym, definitely watch movies, and just be with my people!

I'm from Selinsgrove, PA. My favorite classes have been HPA 101 and HPA 332. Outside of class, I like going to the gym, having movie nights with my roommates, and staying involved with THON!

I'm from Carlisle, PA. Some of my favorite classes include BBH 316, HDFS 129, and BBH 302. In my free time I like to hangout with my friends and go for walks around campus. My favorite study spot on campus is the HHD Building!

Hi! I’m from Swampscott, MA, just outside of Boston. Some of my favorite classes include HDFS 129, and Abnormal Psychology. I love to get Auntie Anne’s with my roommate and watch a movie, and work out at the White Building.

I'm from Morris County, New Jersey. I'm an ambassador for HHD, an on campus EMT, and an RA in McElwain Hall. Some of my favorite classes include BBH 101, PSYCH 100 and KINES 403 and the best study spot on campus is the Ag Engineering Building!

I’m from Long Island, New York. I love music and baking as well as meeting new people! My favorite classes have been HDFS 129 and HDFS 239.

Hi ! I’m Arielle and I’m from Long Beach, California. I love spending time with my friends and going to the beach! I enjoy taking workout classes at the IM building and working with LifeLink on campus.

I’m from Bucks County Pennsylvania. Some things that I enjoy include volunteering at a local animal rescue and binge watching my favorite TV shows. I am a lover of all animals and I have two dogs, two cats, two chinchillas and a parakeet!

I’m from Upstate New York. My favorite classes include PSYCH 100, CSD 462 and EDPSY but I would also recommend taking some classes abroad. I love traveling, crafting and football! 

I'm from North Huntingdon, PA (outside of Pittsburgh). Some of my favorite classes have been CSD 218, CSD 146, and HDFS 129. Around campus I love hanging out at the duck pond and the library Starbucks. I also love to hike, read, and workout!

Hi, I'm from Dutchess County, New York. I loved HM 395C, an internship course, and HM 230. In my free time you can find me taking cycling classes at the IM Building, otherwise I'm baking. I love to hangout by Starbucks in the HUB with friends while I do homework. 

I'm from South Jersey. My favorite classes so far have been BIOL 161 and BIOL 164. I love laying on the HUB lawn when it's nice out and going to football games. When I'm studying, I enjoy going to the Library on campus or Sowers off campus!

HI! I'm from Northern California. My favorite classes have been BBH 490 (Internship Class), BBH 305 (Global Health), and BBH 452 (Women's Health). I love baking, trying new coffee shops, and hanging out with my friends! My favorite study spot on campus is the library.

Hi! I'm from Broomall, PA. In my free time I love to go for walks, paint, cook, and hang out with friends and family! My happy place is definitely down the beach in OCNJ and my fav spot to grab a bite near campus has to be Irvings!! 

Hi! I’m from Mt. Pleasant PA. My favorite study spot on campus is the RPTM student success center in the Ford building!

Hi everyone, I’m from Perrysburg, Ohio. Some of my favorite things to do on campus are to sit outside and do homework and go to the gym. My favorite classes so far are BIO 161 and NUTR 251. My favorite spot to study on campus is the HUB cafe! 

I was born and raised in sunny Los Angeles, CA. Some of my favorite classes thus far have been KINES 367 and KINES 201 as they have helped me to visualize what I'll be doing in my future career as a PE teacher.

I'm from Freehold, New Jersey! I love walking around campus when the weather is nice and grabbing ice cream at the Creamery with my friends (I definitely recommend Death By Chocolate). My favorite class has been BIOL 161 to 164 on anatomy and physiology.

I'm from Gilbertsville, PA. Some of my favorite classes include BIOL 162 and KINES 101. I love to workout and play basketball at the IM Building. I love meeting new people and enjoying the game-day weekends at PSU!

I’m from Northampton, Pennsylvania. My major is BBH and I am looking to attend medical school to become a neurologist.  In my free time I like to be outside and spend time with friends and family! 

Hi, I’m from Jupiter, Florida! I enjoy the beach, going to the gym, hanging out with friends, and spending time outside. I am studying to be a Physician Assistant and my favorite classes have been KINES 202 anatomy and KINES 497 Street Medicine Class.

I am from Framingham, Massachusetts (about 30 minutes outside of Boston). My favorite classes are BBH 101 and BIOL 164. I am on the Penn State Club Gymnastics team, but I also played soccer and lacrosse growing up. I also love to workout and go for runs in my free time.

I’m from Colver, PA and I love to play sports and workout in the White Building. I love to bike on campus in fall when all the trees are changing colors. My favorite place on campus is the Henderson Building where my favorite counselors and advisors are!

I'm from Hershey, PA, and I love to spend time with my family and friends!! I also like to study on the fourth floor of the library, and my favorite classes are PSYCH 120N and CSD 311!!

Hi! I’m from Bloomsburg, PA. My favorite class here at Penn State is HDFS 129 with Molly! I enjoy football Saturdays in the fall and shopping downtown on the weekends! My favorite study spot on campus is the Collaboration Commons in the library, of course with Starbucks!
