As a graduate student in Penn State’s Communication Sciences and Disorders program, you’ll learn how to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and hearing disorders while mastering core knowledge of the communication disorders that affect nearly 10 percent of the world’s population.

CSD offers two flexible graduate programs:

Accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, the Pennsylvania Department of Education, and the National Council on Accreditation in Teaching and Education, our graduate programs take a creative and cutting-edge approach to preparing you to work in research or academia or with patients in hands-on settings, such as hospital, rehabilitation centers, schools, and private practice.
