Penn State MHA provides unique networking opportunities for students
The Penn State Master of Health Administration program recently took a trip to Washington, D.C., giving students an opportunity to meet and engage with individuals working in government relations, advocacy and research in and around the Capitol. The trip exposed students to the diversity of roles they could pursue upon completion of the program and allowed them to see what healthcare work looks like outside of the traditional institutional settings.

Alaina Burns served as student marshal for the Department of Health Policy and Administration during spring 2024 commencement. Burns served as donor and alumni relations chair for Apollo Benefitting THON, and as treasurer of the College of Health and Human Development Ambassadors.
