Chemistry and ECL Blood Analyzers

Overview
The BCL's Roche Diagnostic Cobas c311 chemistry analyzer and Cobas e411 ElectroChemiLuminescence (ECL) analyzer offer testing similar to blood testing labs such as hospitals, Labcorp, or Quest Diagnostic Services. Unlike ELISA or multiplex, samples can be tested individually with high turn around times at a near clinical diagnostic level. Similar to multiplexing, a single sample can be tested on the large array of analytes at the same time. Testing services are charged per sample per analyte and are frequently less expensive than ELISA. Like both ELISA and multiplex, please note that certain analytes require certain types of blood collection tubes and are known to have interference from hemolysis, icterus, and lipemia (which we can measure as well). The c311 chemistry anaylzer utilizes a spectrophotometer to measure over 130 different analytes. Test portfolios include Therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM), Drug of abuse testing (DAT), Specific Protein, Substrates, and Enzymes. Test methods include enzymatic,immunoturbidimetric, colorimetric, UV test, kinetic, absorbance, and similar.
The e411 ElectroChemiLuminescence (ECL) analyzer utilizes patented technology to measure over 100 different analytes. Test portfolios include Anemia, Bone Markers, Cardiac Markers, Tumor Markers, Critical Care, Fertility and Hormones, Maternal Car, and Infectious Diseases
Below is the list of analytes that the BCL has already had installed and validated on our analyzer. However, any analyte from the test portfolios can be added and validated with reasonable prior notification.
