Goal 3: Expand, Diversify, and Support Our Community

Broaden and deepen college-level participation in diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging program development, monitoring and engagement

Strategically expand the reach of HHD’s undergraduate programs, with an eye toward engaging a more diverse student community.

Develop new World Campus certificate programs focused on social and health disparities that can that emphasize multicultural and antiracist content related to our core disciplines, that are built on inclusive teaching models, and that have potential for being integrated with in-residence education programs.

Prepare more students from diverse backgrounds to become the next generation of professional leaders and scholars in health and human development.   

Increase the diversity of our faculty and staff and build a culture of inclusivity and mutual respect.
Action Items here will be part of a coordinated college-wide effort to develop standard organizational processes, practices and habits that promote diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging.  

Extend and deepen engagement with our alumni community.
