Mission

We fulfill the mission of the APG to connect alumni with one another, students, faculty, and staff through activities in the following categories. Each category is a committee led by a volunteer chairperson. 

Mentoring: We help students discover career opportunities by working with the department to host professionals in the classroom, by participating in the College wide alumni mentoring program, and by hosting networking events with alumni and students.

Awards: We nominate deserving HPA alumni for the College of Health and Human Development alumni awards. We also are evaluating the establishment of and HPA APG awards program.

Communications: We communicate with our alumni through our facebook and linkedIn social media accounts. 

Chairperson: Dave McClung

Social/Professional Activities: We organize and sponsor networking opportunities for alumni, and most recently, for alumni to have the opportunity to network with students doing internships in various cities.
